A smart way to store, use and buy food

AI Vision Inside

Enjoy a smart way to manage your food. AI Vision Inside(2) intelligently simplifies your daily food management. Using an internal camera(1), it can identify certain fresh food items when they are put in or taken out and allows you to manage a food list(3) that can also be checked from the SmartThings App(4), while also letting you view images of what is in the door bins. Also it can suggest you relevant recipes and lets you manage ‘Use by date’ by manually setting the date.

(1) Red light will turn on when camera is working. User’s appearance can be captured, but surroundings other than food item will be automatically blurred.
(2) As of March 2024, AI Vision Inside can recognize 33 food items. If the food is not recognisable, it may be listed as unknown item. AI Vision Inside cannot identify or list any food items in the fridge door bins or freezer. It recognises food items based on deep learning models, which may be updated periodically to improve accuracy.
(3) User may need to manually operate the list for accuracy.
(4) The SmartThings App is available on Android and iOS devices. A Wi-Fi connection and a Samsung account are required. You must use a same log-in account between the devices.

If a recipe is recommended, any essential or missing ingredients can be added to the shopping list simply with a touch or voice command, which prevents duplicate purchases and food waste down the line. And if you synchronize the list to your phone, you can easily check it when you’re grocery shopping next.

Beverage Center™

Enjoy fast and easy access to refreshingly cold and naturally flavoured water. The Beverage Center™ is inside the fridge and less exposed to air, reducing the risk of contamination. It has a BPA free* Autofill Pitcher that is automatically filled with purified water, which can be infused with fruits and herbs, so it’s ready to serve instantly. Its Water Dispenser means you can quickly enjoy a cool drink. And it has a stainless nozzle that is easy to detach and wash.

Take your food freshness to a whole new level. The Triple Cooling System has separate air flows that give precise temperature control in your fridge and freezer. So you can keep different areas at different temperature and humidity levels. One part can be kept perfect for veg and another for meat. While a handy third extra airflow lets you change one section from fridge to freezer and back again, whenever you fancy.
