Use less electricity* with heatpump technology. It is A+++ energy rated as it uses ‘refrigerant’ instead of electricity to heat the air and recycles warm air to avoid wasting energy.

The Dryer has A+++ energy efficiency level. Heat Pump Technology saves energy. Icons at the bottom of the dryer explains drying process.

Eliminates bacteria

Hygiene Care

Prevent the build-up of bacteria on clothes and other items, like linen and children’s soft toys. The Hygiene Care cycle sanitizes both dry and wet items* without affecting the drying performance. By infusing them with high temperature heat while drying it eliminates 99.9% of bacteria**.

High temperature heat is emitted from Heater inside the DV5000C drum, drying clothes and dolls. Hygiene care effectively eliminates up to 99.9% of bacteria and certified by Intertek.

Connect your life with SmartThings

Wi-Fi Embedded

Enjoy efficient, hassle-free drying using the SmartThings App*. ‘Energy’ helps manage energy use. ‘Home Care’ keeps the dryer in the best condition. And, when a wash cycle ends on a matching washer, a suitable drying course will be suggested if you press the dryer’s Auto Cycle Link button**.

A person is using SmartThings app on a smartphone by connecting Wi-Fi. Auto Cycle Link is automatically enabled for optimal drying course.

Easy maintenance

2-in-1 Filter

Maintain your dryer easily and optimize the drying performance and safety. The 2-in-1 Filter’s two-layered mesh filter traps dust and fibers. So there is no need for a Heat Exchanger filter, making it easy to maintain. Two alarms also remind you when the Filter and Heat Exchanger need cleaning.

Quick Dry 35′

Get any clothes you need dried fast, like a work shirt or school top. The Quick Dry 35′ cycle gets a small 1kg load of clothing dry and ready to wear in 35 minutes*. Using high heat it can safely dry a few items whenever you are in a hurry – just dry the clothes you need, when you need them.
